Industrial clients need to monitor the operation of plant to optimise
load factors and to establish where and when energy is being consumed. Plexus
has under taken extensive projects to deliver these solutions to clients,
either through large scale sub-metering and/or the provision of Optical Meter Readers
which are then connected back to an Altitude server. Alternatively, a client
may need to monitor plant operation and use Altitude to validate the
performance of a particular task for quality assurance purposes.
The structure of Altitude ensures that users from any
location are able to access their data from any PC via Internet Explorer. There
is no application to install to the client PC, which makes rollout and sharing
of data across plant extremely simple.
Energy
alarms can be automatically generated based on anomalies both in pure energy consumption
and against performance efficiency. Notifications may be passed back via SMS
text message or email based on user preferences.
