After an 18-year career in the City, where he became a managing director and member of the European investment banking management committee at ING Barings, in 2002 Martin McWilliam left to become Deputy Chairman of a privately owned wealth management group with $4 billion under management and a non-executive director of a number of commercial and industrial companies.  In August 2008 he became the controlling shareholder in Plexus Altitude and in March 2009 also assumed the role of CEO.

Martin is married with two children.  He is a keen watcher of most sports, a frustrated golfer and enjoys good food and fine wine.
