Communication Services provide the interface between Altitude and any external system that may be connected. Altitude has many communication drivers to enable Altitude to connect to:

                Meters ( Pulse, Serial, Modbus, M-bus, Flag, Pact )
            Individual Devices (e.g. HVAC, Lighting etc )
            Building Management Systems ( Standard Drivers and Specialist Legacy Drivers )


Altitude can run multiple drivers and in most cases multiple copies of the same driver – normally dependent on the control network topology. Data may be combined from any of these networks and shared with other Altitude services and with other Altitude installations on the IP network via Peer to Peer (P2P) communications. Data may also be directly transferred from one driver to another either internally on a single Altitude system or between computers via the Altitude Data Gateway client service.
