The NXE IP Data Logger accumulates
pulses from up to 32 meters, with additional RS485 communication channels,
which can be used for interrogating serial interface meters via a variety of
proprietary protocols or Modbus protocol.
For meters which time series data, the NXE IP Data Logger provides a
transparent link to the Plexus Altitude Data Collection Server which
can be used to collect time series data and register reads. For meters which do not provide time series
data, the NXE IP Data Logger reads the meter registers at regular intervals and
buffers the resultant interval data for collection by the Plexus Altitude Data
Collection Server.
The
NXE IP Data Logger is Power over Ethernet Class 1 approved or mains
supply. It also comes fitted with a
powerful back-up battery which allows the unit to continue to log pulses for
several days, during which the pulse inputs continue to operate normally.
